ジミー・ストリメルに関する現在の状況について最新情報をお伝えしたいと思います。
その際、私たちは完全に正直で透明性を保ちたいと考えています。
私たちが彼にフルタイムのメンバーとして再びバンドに参加する二度目のチャンスを与えたとき、私たちが唯一要求したのは、彼が薬物乱用から完全に潔白であることだった。
まさに薬物乱用について彼自身が書いており、一般的に非常にオープンに語っています。それに応じて、私たちは薬物とアルコールに対するゼロトレランスについて相互合意に達しました。
さらに、これは私たちがDead by Aprilとして出演するショーにのみ適用されます。もちろん、人生でどのような選択をするかは、彼であれ、他の誰かであれ、当然のことながらです。
ここ数か月間、ジミーがハイになっていてアルコールを飲んでいるのを目撃することが何度かありました。実際、彼が復帰メンバーとして私たちと一緒に行った最初のツアーでは、ツアーバスの中でアルコールを飲んでいました。だから彼には何度もチャンスがあった。
ツアー最後の2公演で、ジミーはステージ時間のほんの数時間前に私たちのもとを去りました。それは正気の沙汰ではありません!! 😳誰にも何も言わずに。それは、ショーを楽しむためにチケットを購入したDBAファンに対して非常に失礼です。キャンセルを拒否したため、残りのメンバーは実際にショーを行うために滞在しました。
ここの AA の皆さんの中に、依存症者とコミュニケーションをとったり、関係を持とうとしたり、さらには手助け（お金を貸したり、組織したり、最も必要なときにそばにいてあげる）することがどのようなものか、経験がある人なら、それがわかるでしょう。完全な悪夢になる可能性があります…あまりにも多くの嘘、被害妄想、操作の試み、冤罪があり、それはばかげています。そして文字通り、あなたにできることは何もありません。
彼が使用したり飲んだりするときはいつでも、私たちが彼の感情的なサンドバッグになることはできません。それは非常に疲れ、混乱があり、ストレスがかかり、信じられないほど破壊的です…
また、私たちは彼のイネーブラーになりたくないので、彼の行動に関係なく、常に新しいチャンスを与えたくありません。なぜなら、彼はいつも私たちに、今回が最後の使用または飲酒であると約束しているからです。
おそらくご理解いただけると思いますが、私たちにはジミーを手放す以外に選択肢はありません。そして私たちは、彼が人生で正しい道を歩むような将来の選択をすることを祈ることしかできません。これは私たちにはどうすることもできませんが、私たちは彼の力と幸運、そしてできる限りの最善を祈ります。

Sin duda es una noticia triste para todos, creo que todos queremos que Jimmie se recupere y la banda tiene que seguir adelante.
Les escucho hace 5 años y medio, sois mi banda favorita e incluso tengo tatuado DBA en el brazo y noticias como esta son difíciles de asimilar.
Sigan adelante tanto Jimmie como DBA, saludos desde Perú.
This is a really bad case of Deja Vu, i cant say i have had any experience with drugs. But going through this same old story over again really makes me confused, Jimmie needs to focus on gettin his life back on the right track, as for the band. I think they would have to be there not as mates, but may be as a support pillar? Cause in the end, Jimmie would need to fix this thing, but he cant do it all alone. Some times you just need that nudge in the right direction, obviously the band has given up. But that cant mean they can support him outside of the group
@Mark: Actually, Jimmie did far worse than just what you mentioned – he did heroin, he admitted it himself in an instagram post a long time ago (that looks like it’s been deleted because I can’t seem to find it now) in which he referenced one of his idols Jonny Craig, who is also a heroin addict and got kicked out of multiple bands. Unsurprisingly, the same thing happened to Jimmie himself. It is one thing to make choices, it’s another thing to allow those choices to affect your entire life and literally everyone around you.

You guys rock in skövde when he wasnt there! I had waited 11 years to finally see u guys and ofcourse it would have been a disapointment if u cancled. You guys rock either way and have been a part of my life since i heard “losing you” for the first time. Hope everything will go well with the new growler! ❤️
